AS1940 safety storage cabinet for flammable liquid

          Corrosive Cabinets have a Polyethylene tray on each shelf to collect any accidental spillages. Designed to withstand fire, these cabinets provide a safe environment to store most corrosive chemicals.

If you need to store chemicals such as Phenol, Nutric Acid, Sulphuric Acid or other substances with highly corrosive vapors, we suggest you look at the Wood Laminated or Polyethylene Constructed Cabinets.These Cabinets are manufactured to comply with AS 3780 for the safe storage of Corrosive Substances

       Toxic Substance (POISON) Cabinets are manufactured to comply with AS 4452 for the safe storage of Toxic Substances.This Standard also states that a Safety Shower and Eye/ Wash must be installed where packages are opened. 

         Oxidising Agent Cabinets painted with yellow color ,Australian Standard AS 4326 prohibits more than 50 kg or 50 L of Packaging Group I to be stored in a Cabinet. Up to 250 kg or 250 L of Packaging Group II may be stored in one Cabinet.

         Organic Peroxide Cabinets also painted with yellow color are designed to comply with AS 2714 and have a sump capacity equal to the total of the contents of the Cabinet. They are designed so that in the event of an explosion the doors will open outwards. For this reason the maximum capacity of a Cabinet is 100 kg or 100 L.

          Pesticide Cabinets painted in green color are manufactured for the safe storage of Pesticides.

     Sometimes I am really not sure which range these safety storage cabinets should be or belong to, industrial storage equipment,industrial storage tools,material handling equipment,laboratory furniture,fire safety equipment,warehouse storage equipment,workplace safety equipment,safety equipment,office furniture or just normal steel cabinet?

     A few years ago, we received a order which contains two pcs of Australian standards flammable storage cabinets. Before that time, we never meet the Australian standards cabinet, so we know nothing about it at all. Hurriedly ,reviewed some websites of Australian local suppliers, I just got one point,the height of the sump is 150mm, instead of the normal height 80mm. After the finished ones are up, US size and stickers,only AU sump. In fact, it is just a 45 gallon yellow color flammable cabinets just with a height 150mm sump.Totally failed for trying Australian dangerous goods safety storage cabinet.
    After that, we studied more about AU combustible safety storage cabinets, now we do them very well. And the customers from Australia and New zealand like them very much and fully satisfied. The below is our new picture.
 

Do you know the height of the sump of the flammable storage cabinet in different standards?

    If you ever pay more attention to the height of the sump of safety storage cabinets based on many standards, such as USA, AU,BR etc?
    As far as I know, the height of sump is 80 mm for USA type of dangerous substance safety storage cabinets. But its height is 150mm for australian Standards of hazardous goods storage cabinets. To British type, the height is changeable according to the capacity. Interesting.
